The End of an Era Rector Ryan’s final service, before he retired, took place on the morning of April 8th to an almost capacity congregation in St. David’s. Everyone there wanted to wish Stephen a long and happy retirement as he leaves for sunnier climes. At the end of the service there were presentation from the church, our MP Christina Rees, the Scouts and a special message accompanied by a photograph sent by our famous past chorister Katherine Jenkins. Afterwards everyone was invited to refreshment in the school hall behind the church, where Stephen cut the specially baked cake made by the PPC secretary Judith McCutchon.
The Parish Office Renovation work will start at the Rectory on Monday, 9th July for a period of 8 to 12 weeks. The Rectory will be out of bounds to us during this time. The Parish Office will move to our other parish house, Little Haven, Lewis Road Neath.
